Q: How do I add or edit my Direct Deposits in ADP Workforce Now?
A: You can edit your Direct Deposits at any time in ADP Workforce Now. Go to the Myself Tab and under Pay - select Payment Options. If you would like to edit or change the account you have on file please select the Edit option and make any changes. If you would like to add a Direct Deposit Account Select "+ Add Bank Account" and follow the prompts.
Q: My account says "Awaiting Approval" Is there anything I need to do?
A: Yes! In order for Human Resources to approve any changes to your Direct Deposit, we will need to confirm your (1) Account Number (2) Routing Number and (3) Account Type (checking or savings).
Please submit an HR Ticket with a Void Check, Direct Deposit Form, or Screenshot of your Banking App to confirm this information.
Q: I have multiple checking accounts - do I have to have one account set up to receive everything?
A: Yes – to avoid the processing of a paper check, we require all employees to have a Direct Deposit on file that will receive everything OR the remainder of your pay.
Q: I am not sure if my account is a checking account or a savings account. Does this affect my Direct Deposit information?
A: Yes - if there is an error with the account type, it can delay payroll and cause a delay in your Direct Deposit. Please make sure to confirm your account type with your bank.
Q: I changed my Direct Deposit in ADP, and it was approved. Will my next pay check get deposited into the new account?
A: No - it can take 1 to 3 pay periods for the Direct Deposit change to process through ADP Workforce Now. If you have questions about your current Direct Deposit, please submit a HR Ticket.
